Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, is the second in a set of 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies by composer Franz Liszt. Composed in 1847 and dedicated to Count László Teleki, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 was first published as a piano solo in 1851 by Senff and Ricordi.

Frédéric Chopin March 1, 1810 – October 17, 1849, was a Polish composer and pianist. He is considered one of the great masters of Romantic music. Chopin was born in the village of Żelazowa Wola, in the Duchy of Warsaw.

Chopin composed his Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 35 mainly in 1839 at Nohant near Chateauroux in France, the third movement, which comprises the funeral march may have been composed as early as 1837.

The String Quartet No. 14 in G major, K. 387, nicknamed the "Spring" quartet, was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1782 while in Vienna.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, full baptismal name Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart (27 January 1756 – 5 December 1791), was a composer of the Classical era. He composed over 600 works of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music.

Dame Nellie Melba GBE (19 May 1861 – 23 February 1931), born Helen Porter Mitchell, was an Australian opera soprano. She became one of the most famous singers of the late Victorian Era and the early 20th century.



La bohème is an opera in four acts by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, based on Scènes de la vie de bohème by Henri Murger.

Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini (22 December 1858 – 29 November 1924) was an Italian composer whose operas, including La bohème, Tosca, Madama Butterfly and Turandot, are among the most frequently performed in the standard repertoire.

Enrico Caruso came from a poor background. Born in Naples in the Via San Giovanello agli Ottocalli 7 on February 25, 1873, he was baptized next door in the Roman Catholic Church of San Giovanni e Paolo, Naples, the next day.
